Xiaomi smartphones will warn the owner when someone is peeping at the screen

A new Xiaomi patent has been published on the network, which describes the technology for detecting peeping into the screen. This method uses a sensor to detect the presence of prying eyes.

The technology described in the patent can recognize at least one face, for example, the user's face. Based on this, the system determines whether someone other than the owner is looking at the smartphone. If someone is peeping, the system will take measures to protect it. So the user can be protected from leakage of confidential information.

Previously, a similar technology was patented by Apple for its MacBooks. The method distorted the image when someone peered at the screen.

Since Xiaomi has only a patent so far, it is difficult to say when the technology will appear in real devices, and whether it will appear.
