The star Naya Rivera disappeared. Her infant son was found sleeping in a boat.

In the United States, the actress Naya Rivera, the star of the musical series Glee, disappeared. Her four-year-old son was discovered in a boat in the middle of Lake Piru, which is located southwest of Los Angeles (California).

According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s office, the 33-year-old actress, who played the role of Santana Lopez in Glee, rented a boat on Wednesday evening. Rivera’s son was found sleeping in a boat with a life jacket on it. The boy said that they swam together, but his mother did not return to the boat, reports BBC .

The search operation continued during the night, and should resume immediately after dawn. The sheriff’s office said on Twitter that they are looking for a “possibly drowned" person. Police also posted footage of a search operation involving a helicopter and divers.

The series "Chorus" was broadcast on the American television channel Fox from 2009 to 2015. Naya Rivera participated in six seasons of the series. In 2014, Rivera married actor Ryan Dorsey, from whom she gave birth to a son. In 2018, they divorced.

On July 7, Rivera posted a photograph with her son on her Twitter and wrote: "Just the two of us."
