Capitalization of Malaysian glove makers grows faster than Tesla
The capitalization of leading Malaysian rubber and latex glove manufacturing companies in 2020 outpaced Tesla, the manufacturer of electric vehicles from the United States of America. It is reported by the Bloomberg agency.

According to the publication, the value of Supermax Corporation shares rose by more than 1000%, and Top Glove Corporation - by 389%. At the same time, the price of Tesla shares rose 259%.

These statistics are associated with a sharp increase in the demand for personal protective equipment due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Bloomberg, the total market value of the three largest glove manufacturers in Malaysia has grown by $ 26 billion. Experts predict a double increase in profits of these companies in 2021. At the same time, experts do not exclude that the accelerating pace of development of the vaccine from COVID-19 may slow down the growth of shares of companies in this sector.
